Information about our organisation and web site

MYCOM s.r.o. is committed to protecting your privacy. We provide this privacy statement to inform you about the type of information we collect from you online and how we use that information.  By using our web site you agree to what we say in this privacy statement and you are bound by it.
This web site is governed by the laws of Slovakia. You agree that the courts of Slovakia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of your use of this web site.
The By Mycom ( web site is owned by MYCOM s.r.o., a company incorporated under the laws of Slovakia (ID No. 35 937 823) whose registered office is at Rastislavova 2, Bratislava 821 02, Slovakia.
All information systems operated by MYCOM s.r.o. are registered with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.
The privacy statement is effective from 17th August 2015.
In this privacy statement the terms “Mycom”, “we” and “our” are used to refer to MYCOM s.r.o., unless we say otherwise below.
A visitor to the By Mycom web site is referred to in this privacy statement as “visitor” “you” or “your”.

Collection of personal information

We try to collect personal data about you only with your knowledge and consent.  Personal data is information that could identify a specific individual, such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers (“Personal Information”).  If, during your visit to the By Mycom web site, you submit any information to us, you may be providing us with Personal Information.

Use of Personal Information

If you choose to provide us with Personal Information it will be used to provide the information, products or services you request, or which we think may be of interest to you, to communicate with you for the same purpose, or for any other purposes stated at the time at which the data is collected.

Data will be held for the lifetime your subscription is active for the purposes of contacting you effectively, after, which time it, is liquidated.  We do not collect any additional information about you, except as outlined above.

Transmission of information via the internet is not always secure.  We cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information while it is being transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.  However, once we have received your Personal Information we will ensure that it is held securely in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations. We take appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss of Personal Information.  However, at present we do not give visitors to the By Mycom web site the option of using a secure transmission method to send us their Personal Information.

Disclosures of, and the cross-border transfer of, your Personal Information

We do not sell or otherwise release your Personal Information to third parties for the purpose of allowing them to market their products or services to you.  We may, however, pass your Personal Information to, or allow it to be accessed, by third party organisations who provide data processing or IT services for us, or who otherwise assist us in supplying you with goods you have bought from us, or in providing services or information that you request.
We will take steps to ensure that your Personal Information is kept secure and used only in accordance with our instructions and for the purposes we have indicated to you at the time the data is collected.  We will not transfer sensitive personal information without your specific consent.
We reserve the right to disclose your Personal Information as required by law, or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or other official process or decision. Except as set out above, we will not pass your details to any other third party without first obtaining your permission.

Direct marketing

We will only send you marketing material about products and services which we think may be of interest to you if you have indicated that you wish to receive such material.  If you no longer wish to receive such marketing material, please contact us at, or unsubscribe from receiving such notices directly from the email through link situated on the bottom of the text.

Your Rights

You shall have the rights stated in the Section 28 and the right to request from us the confirmation whether we are processing your personal information or not and their list together with the information about their source, as well as the information stated in the Section 15 of the Personal Data Protection Act. 

Site traffic information and cookies

Servers located within Websupport, s. r. o., Staré Grunty 12, 841 04 Bratislava, Slovakia [] and hosted by third parties (which may be located outside the EEA) automatically log data about your visit to the By Mycom web site based on your IP address.  This information does not identify you as an individual, but identifies the computer or other device you use to access the By Mycom web site.  The information we collect is used to see where the By Mycom site is being used in the world to ensure coverage, and for click stream analysis to help us better understand site usage.  We do not link information automatically logged by such means with Personal Information about specific individuals.
